April Fools
Well.
In all the ScriptFrenzy excitement, in all my eager countdowns through March, in all my wild celebration when April 1st finally arrived, I sorta forgot that it was, well, April 1st.
Level 5 stupidity alert, much?
Today Kiri and Luke decided it’d be fun to douse the tile floor of the bathroom with water, in honor of that delightful holiday the first day of April bringeth.
Meaning that unsuspecting family members would enter the bathroom and a) get their feet/socks soaked while uttering loud expletives, b) get their feet/socks soaked and not realize it, then walk all over the house and get the rest of the floors wet, or c) slip on the water, lose their balance, and fall over.
Lovely.
(For those who’re curious, I was the unfortunate recipient of choice C.)
Oh, but never fear; next year I’ll get ‘em back. I’ve planned out all my pranks and they’re ready to kick some serious sibling butt during April Fools ‘09. Sweet revenge!
Luke and Kiri are gonna be so sorry when this is over. Muahaha.
